Royal Visit to India 1911-12,(PRESENTED BY KING GEORGE V RI E.W. JAKES H.M.S. MEDINA), Scrap book kept by his parents, A Spoon and Fork salvaged from the Medina, and various newspaper cuttings and a copy photo. Etc.

1911 enlists in The Roayl Navay as a Boy J.10313.
1914 serving on Cynthia,
1916 on board Mystic for the Battle of Jutland.
1917 on board the Erebus.
1919 Arch Angel expedition.
1920 Invalided from service.
1930 dies in Petersfield.
The Medina was sunk in 1917 by torpedo on her way to Tilbury. She lay untouched for 70 years when a team of divers recovered her treasures, many sold by Sotheby's in 1988.
It is believed the spoon and fork were part of this sale.
His Medals and other relics are extant and with a Medal Collector.
