A Vietnam War Medal group awarded to 5715187, Signalman, Alan Cyril Weller, (an Australian) who served in the Vietnam War, the history of which can be viewed by clicking on here.

Weller arrived in Vietnam in March 1968 (while undertaking his National Service) and served an 8 month tour of duty with the R.A. 104th Signal Squadron.

The medals are sold loose with a good length of original ribbon and come with copy of Weller's 76 page service record document confirming his service and the award of his medals.

FURTHER DETAILS:

Weller was born in December 1946, and lived in Busselton Western Austrailia. Within his service paper's he states that his nationality is 'British'. He enlisted in April 1967, and after training left Darwin for Siagon in March 1968.

He was assigned to the R.A. 104 Signal Squadron, and served an 8 month tour of duty before returning to Austrailia. An account of the squadron's service in Vietnam can be found by clicking on here. Weller left the service in September 1969.
