Egypt Medal dated 1882, (A. BANFIELD. A.B. H.M.S. NORTHUMBERLAND.), Metropolitan Fire Brigade Jubilee 1897 Medal in bronze, (ARTHUR BANFIELD.), L.C.C.M.F.B. Coronation 1902 Medal in bronze, (ARTHUR BANFIELD.), London Fire Brigade Good Service Medal in bronze, (ARTHUR BANFIELD.), Khedives Star 1882.

Born 1857 Chelsea.
1873 Joins the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class.
1874 Boy 1st Class, to Sultan.
1875 rated as Ordinary Seaman.
1877 Able Seaman.
1878 to Black Prince, landing to take Nicosia.
1882 to Northumberland, Egypt Campaign.
1885. Discharged on completion of service and joins the London Fire Brigade, posted to Chelsea Fire Station.
Serving at various stations until,
1897 he is posted to the East Floating Fire Station then to Hammersmith amongst others. Receives his Diamond Jubilee Medal.
1901 to Blackfriars Pier Fire Float. Receives injuries whilst attending a Fire at Bunhill Road when a wall collapsed on him.
1902 receives Coronation Medal.
1906 receives Good Conduct Medal.
1907 retires.
1929 his death is registered in the Pancras district.
