1875 born in Battersea, London.
1895 enlists as a Stoker in the Royal Navy.
1903 to Drake.
1904 earns his Soccer medal.
1909 rated Stoker Petty Officer.
1913 joins Submarine D6.
1915 joins H7.
1916 joins J5.
1917 becomes Chief Stoker, awarded Distinguished Service Medal for services in submarines in enemy waters 1917.
1918 receives his Long Service & Good Conduct Medal.
1919 demobilised.
1922 discharged to submarine reserve.
1936 moves to Fishbourne.
1947 dies and buried in Fishbourne.
