Active Service Pay Book, Demob Certificate, Prisoner of War Notification card, Buckingham Palace letter re his release from Prisoner of War Employment Certificate during the War, St Johns Certificate for first aid to the injured, Certificate of Proficiency in the Home Guard, Various trade cards etc, Original Photographs including one of the Home Guard Company at Newton, Wakefield.
He lived at 77 & 81 Leeds Road Newton Bar, Wakefield.
Herbert Leonard Hemingway was taken Prisoner by the Germans May 27th 1918.
Transferred in 1919 to the Army Service Corps as a Driver. He was a Welder and Electrician and worked latterly at British Ropes in Wakefield.
