(1896-1975).
1914-15 Star (J. 26912. A.T. WYLAM. A.B. R.N.), British War Medal, Victory Medal (J. 26912. A.T. WYLAM. L.S. R.N.), Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal, 1935 Jubilee Medal, royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal Gv (J. 26912. A.T. WYLAM. P.O. H.M.S. VIVID.).
Arthur was born Devonport 1896.
1913 enlists as a boy.
1914 serving on HMS Carnarvon during the Battle of the Falklands.
1920 promoted to Petty Officer.
1929 awarded his L.S.&G.C.
1935 awarded 1935 Jubilee Medal.
1936 retires and joins the royal Navy Recruiting Office, Newcastle where he serves throughout WW2.
1958 retires from the Navy.
1975 dies in Hythe.
