Born 1873 in Bristol.
1896 Joins Royal Navy as Acting Engineroom Artificer 4th Class.
1899 promoted to E.R.A.3
1903 promoted to E.R.A.2
1908 on Russell when she collided with Venus in Quebec.
1914 to Amphitrite.
1915 to Prince George. Suvla Bay landings and evacuation.
1916 evacuation of Helles.
1917 promoted to Chief Artificer Engineer whilst on Skipjack.
1921 retires with rank of Engineer Lieutenant.
1950 dies in Exeter.
