1900 joins the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class.
1901 Ordinary Seaman.
1903 qualifies as a Gunner.
1909 sub rated as Seaman Gunner on Hannibal.
1911 one of the Guard of Honour Westminster Abbey for Coronation.
1914 to Argonaut as Leading Seaman.
1915 to King Alfred.
1916 rated Petty Officer.
1917 to Challenger.
1919 for service in the Coastguard at Dartmouth.
1923 discharged to shore.
1944 possibly died.
