1912 promoted to Engineer Lieutenant Commander.
1914 to Leonidas, Battle of Heligoland Bight.
1916 to Anzac, awarded French Legion d'Honeur.
1917 promoted to Engineer Commander.
1918 to Carlisle.
1924 to Repulse, Prince of Wales tour.
1925 MVO awarded for the tour.
1926 promoted to Engineer Captain.
1932 promoted to Engineer Rear Admiral, retires.
1939 refused re-entry to the Navy due to age, His son is killed in action 1942.
1954 dies in Plymouth Naval Hospital.
