Born 1895 in Portknockie, Banffshire.
1916 enlisted in the Royal Naval Reserve.1917 on 17th June Alexander was Killed in Action when the H.M.T. Fraser was sunk by enemy mine.
Commemorated on Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
