Arthur Hildebrand Ramsden-Tagore,
(1867-1941).

1914-15 Star Trio, (LIEUT. A.H. RAMSDEN-TAGORE. R.N.V.R.).

Born 1867, educated at Charterhouse 1880-84.
1886 Indentured to his father, a solicitor 150 Leadenhall Street, London.
1887 Sails on Sycthia to New York as a Clerk with his uncle, a serving Army Officer.
1890 changes name to inherit and adds Tagore via Deed Poll.
1910-14 An active member of the Royal Motor Yacht Club becoming a committee member. He becomes a Temporary Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Serves on Pursuit and Ivanhoe.
1915 Leaves Ivanhoe and takes command of ML23 at Lowestoft.
1916 Commands ML168 in the Mediterranean and Gallipoli.
1917 returns to Lowestoft in command of ML125.
1919 Demobilised.
1935 Chairman of RNVR (Auxiliary Patrol) Club Connaught Rooms.
1941 Dies at Sidmouth.
