Born 1884 in Satara south of Bombay and Poona.
1894 educated at Dollar Academy, Scotland.
1901 Edinburgh University.
1909 appointed Surgeon Royal Navy at RN Hospital, Haslar.
1914 to Glory serves in the Dardanelles.
1915 Landings at Suvla Bay.
1916 to Rewa.
1917 promoted to Staff Surgeon.
1918 Rewa a hospital ship was torpedoed in the Bristol Channel. Recommended for the Distinguished Service Order for his actions.
1921 having been in various Naval Hospitals he is promoted to Surgeon Commander.
1923 becomes Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
1930 reports some aspects of venereal diseases in the Navy with special reference to the China Station!
1934 promoted to Surgeon Captain.
1939 at the RN Hospital Barrow Gurney, Bristol.
1946 granted class A release. Becomes member of the pensions appeal board.
1957 retires from board and dies in Kingswood, Tadworth.
