Private Harry Wright a native of Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire, a Railwayman by trade, was entitled to wear Two Wound Stripes and was discharged due to Wounds received in Action 17.9.1918 and awarded the Silver War Badge number B1144 whilst serving in the 8th Leeds Rifles Battalion of the West Yorkshire Regiment, having been called up to serve on 2.8.1914 from the Territorials, posted to France 16.4.1915.
His papers are on line at Find My Past.
His Regimental number was changed during service to 305199.
