Three sets of medals from WW1 awarded to the Farquhar Family. This family group consists of the following:

WW1 pair awarded to 4615 (later 201683 then 270044) Private John MacFarquhar of the Seaforth Highlanders, (later Princess Louise's Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders). The history of the Seaforth Highlanders can be viewed by clicking on here. This listing comes with a paper copy of his Medal Index Card which can also be viewed by clicking on here (if you have access to Ancestry). I have been unable to trace any service records to this man.

WW1 pair awarded to 227607 Gunner Alexander MacFarquhar of the Royal Artillery. The history of the Roya Artillery can be viewed by clicking on here. Comes with a paper copy of his Medal Index Card which can also be viewed by clicking on here (if you have access to Ancestry). I have been unable to trace any service records to this man.
