A 1914 Mons Star with clasp awarded to 7359, Private Sidney Robson, who served with the 1st Battalion, South Wales Borderers.

Robson arrived in France on 27/08/14, the Medal Index Card and the medal roll confirming the clasp can be viewed by clicking on here and on here, (if you have access to Ancestry), although a paper copy of the MIC will be provided with this listing.

I have not been able to locate any service records relating to this man, however, he was awarded a Silver War Badge, details of which can be viewed by clicking on here, (again if you have access to Ancestry) which indicates that he enlisted in July 1902, he was wounded while in France and discharged from the service in April 1915.
