Alexander Black served in the Yorkshire Regiment and is entitled to the 1914-15 Star Trio, He is also entitled to the Silver War Badge number 256968 being discharged due to Gun shot Wounds received to his neck and Larynx in Action, He was seriously ill and evacuated back to the UK. He was shot 13.2.1916 and discharged 24.8.1917 An Irishman born in Belfast, settled in Liverpool with his brother after his discharge. Enlisted 9.9.1914. copy papers on line at Ancestry
