Harry Pemberton Bird,
(1920-????).

1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star clasp France and Germany, Africa Star, Pacific Star, 1939-45 War Medal, Box of Issue, Original Service Books and documents, full Autobiography completed 1999.

Harry was born 1920 in Chingford, Essex.
Enlisted in the Merchant Navy 1937 where he was employed until 1983. He served throughout World War Two surviving the sinking of the Liseta 1945. Harry served on no less than 63 different ships during his career.
