1941 Volunteers for service in the Royal Navy given number MX 85727 AS A Sick Berth Attendant.
1942 posted to RMA Maine, Alexandria.
1945 to Chatham Hospital, then to Wildfire at Sheerness.
1946 released from duty.
1954 enlists in the Royal Air Force appointed as Ward Attendant.
1961 awarded G.S.M. as a Senior Aircraftsman.
1964 awarded C.S.M as a Corporal.
1966 discharged as physically unfit.
1988 dies in the Canterbury district.
