Born Thetford 1904.
1924 Enlisted in Royal Navy as assistant cook.
1939 Joins H.M.S. Ramilles as a C.P.O. Cook being awarded his L.S.G.C. the same year.
1954 retires with the rank of Senior Commissioned Cookery Officer.
1983 dies Copnor, Portsmouth.
