WW2 Medals To Sister, Monmouth - Attributed To Cowan/Griffith
A pair of Defence medals which were awarded to (presumed) two sisters who lived at the same address as noted as Parade House, The Parade, Monmouth.
Parade House is a ‘Care Home’. The sisters, Miss Edna Cowan, and Gladys Griffith, shared a house in 1939 and are shown on the 1939 Register as living at Turn Pike Cottage Rockfield Road , Monmouth. Their entry can be seen by clicking on here.
Both medals come with their original boxes of issue, ribbon, wax packets and Home Secretary Medal Award slip.
