(1909-1969).

HMS Conway Royal Navy Training Ship named to Hobson Cup Easter 1927, Port Main, G.W. Eadie. In case of issue. Hallmarked silver.

Born in Cheadle Hume 1909.
Educated Manchester Grammar School.
Joined Conway 1925.
1927 leaves Conway as a Probationary Midshipman and joins Royal Mail Steam Packet Company.
1939-45 receives a Regular Army Emergency Commission in the Tank Corps becoming a Major, served in Africa.
1969 died in the Manchester District living in Prestbury.
