HMS Worcester & Conway Boat Race Medal in hm silver. Won by the Worcester Crew 1937 edge engaved (J.A. COTCHING).

Son of William Arthur and Mary Harrington Cotching of Angmering, Sussex.
Killed on HMS Searcher 8/5/1944.
Distinguished Service Cross LG 30/5/1944. For undaunted courage, resolution and skill while operating HMS Searcher in air attacks on enemy shipping in northern waters. RNR, Warlingham.
Mentioned in Despatches 11/7/1944.
Commemorated on Lee-On-Solent Memorial.
