www.onlinemedals.co.uk, is the website of Red Badge I.T. Services Limited and is owned and operated by Philip Haigh which is me!
I have been interested in all aspects of military history since childhood and I have written and subsequently had published several books on the subject. I have been collecting British & Commonwealth medals and militaria for over 20 years, and I have been buying and selling medals on-line for the last 10 years.
I have become aware of the lack of structured information that can be found on the world wide web in regards to British & Commonwealth medals, their correct names, their history and their value.
Along with this the desire to offer 'collectors', 'dealers' and 'everyday people' a website where they could identify their medals, value their medals and if they choose to, sell - or buy - medals, without having to pay the ever increasing fees associated with auction houses and auction sites, what prompted me to develop this website.
It is my hope that we have provided a website that is structured, simple and easy to use and offers 'buyers' a wide range of choice to add to their own collections, and 'sellers' an opportunity to sell medals for a 'fixed price', for a 'fixed period of time' for a modest 'one off' fee.
So how much does it cost?
This is almost always the very first question people ask...so here are the prices.
Listing a 'Single Medal' for sale on this site, will cost:
£1 for 1 month,
£2 for 3 months, and
£3 for 6 months.
Listing a 'Medal Group' for sale on this site will cost:
£2 for 1 month,
£4 for 3 months, and
£5 for 6 months.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS and the advice given in the 'Things you should know' pages on this website.
