This policy and any other documents referred to on it sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. We keep certain basic information when you visit our website and recognise the importance of keeping that information secure and letting you know what we will do with it.

You are anonymous when you visit and search our website, and we do not collect any personal information from you at this stage.

Information we may collect from you

  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have previously registered to use this website and created an account, and subsequently do not visit this website for a period of 6 months your account will be deleted. The only data held by us in regards to individual 'active' accounts that we maintain, consists on your 'Name', (as provided by you upon registering and creating an account), your 'Location', 'E-mail Address', 'Telephone Number' and the preference that you indicated in regards to 'Payment'. THIS WEBSITE DOES NOT COLLECT, HOLD, OR MAINTAIN ANY OF YOUR FINANCIAL DETAILS.

Equally, we do not record or store any sensitive, personal information concerning your race, ethnicity, religion, politics, sexuality, or beliefs. Additionally, if you are aged 16 or under, you must first obtain your parent’s or guardian’s permission before you provide us with any information.

Once an account is deleted, either by the 'seller' or by Red Badge I.T. Services Limited, trading as www.onlinemedals.co.uk, it is permantly deleted and cannot be retrived.

We also maintain details of items that 'seller's' are activly selling, once a 'sales listing' is deleted by the 'seller', any data that was contained within that 'sales listing' is permantly deleted and cannot be retrived.

WE DO NOT MAINTAIN an email 'mailing list' of any description. We do maintain a list of 'medal wants', but only contact you when a medal or medal group that matches your 'wants' becomes available. Each time we contact you regarding a 'medal wants' we will seek your approval to contact you in the future regarding your 'wants list'.

We never sell your personal information, or share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes, and we will only use your personal information for the purposes for which it was obtained.

IP addresses and cookies

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual and we will not collect personal information in this way.

We may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:
