A WW1 Territorial Forces Medal awarded to 424022 (later 8891) Sapper Edward Adams, Royal Engineers.

His medal is loose with an original ribbon, this listing is supplied with a paper copy of his Medal Index Card, which can also be viewed by clicking on here (if you have access to Ancestry), which shows that he was eligible for a Silver War Badge, a paper copy of the SWB entry which is also supplied with this listing and can also be viewed by clicking on here (again if you have access to Ancestry). I have not been able to locate any service records for this man.

FURTHER DETAILS:

Adams enlisted on the 4th April 1913 and served with the Royal Engineers, according to the details supplied in regards to the Silver War Badge that he was entitled to, his last unit being noted as ‘sec 'B' A.R. Royal Engineers’ (a reserve unit) and he left the service on the 15th March 1919 due to ‘sickness’.
